4C Icons
This short sequence reimagines 2D vector icons that represent East Coast creative agency 4C’s pillars as part of an interconnected array of moving pieces in a 3D world.
The original vector artwork was used as a base for modeling the circular insets in the “icon” cubes.
The animation was made using Cinema4D. The project initially started out using Redshift, but the texturing and lighting was re-worked in Octane during the final week in order to harness the power and cost efficiency of the decentralized and distributed GPU-based RNDR network.
